Laser welding tips

首先In laser welding, the laser beam, which serves as a heat source, is generated by a laser oscillator, amplified and transmitted through an optical fiber, and first sent to the vicinity of the workpiece. What is needed at this stage is a laser processing head. The laser processing head has a built-in lens to focus the transmitted laser beam to a state suitable for processing. By focusing the beam through the lens, the light energy can be concentrated in a small area, thereby obtaining higher power and even melting metal. In order to prevent the molten metal from oxidizing, shielding gases such as argon and nitrogen are generally sprayed during welding.
